Former US diplomat Lewis Lukens talks to partner Michael Dakin about the relationship between the US and the UK and some of the challenges that the current Trump administration faces.

Lewis served as a Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy of London between 2016 and 2019 before which he was US Ambassador to Senegal and Guinea-Bissau, following his role as Executive Director of the US Department of State's Executive Secretariat, directing management support and overseas travel for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
