Our Global Tech Policy Forum supports critical multi-stakeholder dialogue at the intersection of technology, law, and public policy.
About the Tech Policy Forum
Businesses are developing and adopting new technologies at an exponential rate. In response, policymakers are rapidly creating and implementing laws that seek to address the implications of these new technologies. We believe that effective regulation of complex technologies results from broad engagement, encompassing a diverse range of expertise and perspectives - including from companies and trade associations, civil society and academia.
That’s why we have created our Tech Policy Forum - to provide a space where stakeholders from a range of interested organisations can draw on each other’s and our expertise at the intersection of technology, law and public policy.
Effective regulation can be a tailwind to innovation. As a firm advising globally on issues from artificial intelligence to data privacy to cybersecurity and competition, we also see the consequences of laws that don't work as well as intended. They can have unforeseen consequences for companies or entire industries, and risk stifling innovation. We hope that through its work, our Tech Policy Forum will contribute to the process of creating coherent, proportionate and effective regulation of innovative technologies.
