The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) has launched a technical consultation (the Consultation) on the proposed Infrastructure Levy to increase the infrastructure funding support that local authorities receive from real estate developers in England. Framework provisions for the infrastructure levy are currently included in the Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill which is currently progressing through Parliament.
