We believe that we can achieve most impact through our pro bono work when we act in partnership with NGOs, not-for-profits, other civil society organisations and our fee-paying clients.
Our theory of change draws on our experience of working in this way over many years. It provides a structure and template for identifying and developing effective partnerships, and measuring their impact over time.
Our approach to working in partnership seeks to harness and co-ordinate the contribution that we believe can be delivered not just by our people around the world but also the many outstanding organisations within our networks in order, in the words of SDG 17, to revitalise the global partnership for sustainable development.
Our theory of change embeds what we believe are the strengths of this approach: a commitment to long term partnership; the deployment of the full range of our technical legal and other business expertise on a pro bono basis; access to our networks; and the flexible and responsive deployment of our Foundation funds. When we get this right, we believe we enable our pro bono NGO clients to significantly increase the scale of their contribution towards the achievement of the SDGs.
