David I. Schultz is a private equity partner in the New York office with extensive experience representing private equity investors and other public and private companies in complex, transformative business transactions. These include domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings, recapitalizations, minority investments and other complex corporate transactions.
David represents private equity sponsors in mergers and acquisitions transactions and investments in various industries, including technology, media, entertainment, retail, manufacturing, fashion/apparel, biotechnology, life settlements, telecommunications, industrials, advertising and education.
David’s extensive experience representing clients spans from advising on new investments to special situations and restructuring of existing investments in public and private companies, involving equity and debt securities at all levels of the capital structure, including negotiating governance and other control rights in connection with accumulations of significant equity and debt stakes.
