Originally from Argentina and dual qualified in New York and Argentina, she regularly advises financial investors and corporate enterprises in complex cross-border M&A transactions.
Carla has extensive practice in cross border M&A transactions, with a particular focus on energy and infrastructure.

- An affiliate of a U.S. conglomerate on its acquisition of a SPV that owns interests in an electricity generator in Argentina
- An Administrative Agent for a group of secured lenders in a credit bid in connection with the chapter 11 cases of Waypoint Leasing Holdings Ltd. and affiliates
- CDPQ, a leading long-term institutional investor, on its acquisition from Banagricola S.A. and International Investments S.A. of a strategic minority interest in Grupo SURA’s subsidiary SURA Asset Management (SUAM). SUAM is a leading insurer in Latin America and has more than 20 million clients in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, El Salvador and Uruguay and US$135 billion in AUM
- CVC funds on its first investment in Latin America, a joint venture with Cosan, one of the largest Brazilian conglomerates with assets in the energy and logistics sectors
