Avrohom Gelber is a partner in the US Tax, Pensions and Employment group in New York. Avrohom's practice focuses on the US tax aspects of cross-border finance and capital markets transactions for US and non-US companies.
Avrohom also provides tax and structuring advice for a wide variety of international financial and business transactions, including investment funds, private equity investments, corporate acquisitions and restructurings, and derivative financial instruments.

- Funds managed by BlackRock in connection with the purchase of US$175 million in junior secured notes issued by a Florida residential real estate developer, Homes by West Bay, LLC.
- Banco Santander in connection with an export credit agency backed credit facility guaranteed by Euler Hermes Aktiengesellschaft in the amount of US$42,869,443.97 for Unipar Carbocloro, a Brazilian industrial chemical company, for the purchase of equipment from ThyssenKrupp.
- SierraCol in connection with an unsecured US$74 million loan provided by Bancolombia for the purpose of financing the acquisition of certain gas fields in Colombia.
- Santander and BNP Paribas as lenders in a US$500 million loan to the Ministry of Finance of The Bahamas, which was partially guaranteed by IADB.
