Andrew Crook is a highly regarded corporate practitioner with extensive expertise in private equity and M&A. His experience includes advising private market firms and multinational businesses on a range of transactions in APAC and globally.
With a focus on complex transactions Andrew has worked across a variety of sectors including healthcare, technology, industrials, education, energy and resources, infrastructure, financial and real estate.

- Bain Capital Credit and its co-investor Arcadia Capital on their acquisition of the Ansett Aviation international flight simulation business
- The Carlyle Group on a number of matters including its acquisition of Accolade Wines, the proposed acquisition of Redflex Limited and the shareholder arrangements relating to the IPO of its portfolio company Healthscope Limited (jointly held with TPG Capital)
- CVC backed Mantra Group on its IPO and subsequent takeover by Accor Hotels
- Decarbonisation Plus Acquisition Corp, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) on the first Australian SPAC merger with Tritium
- Partners Group on a number of Private Equity, Private Infrastructure and Private Real Estate transactions including its acquisition of the Guardian Early Learning business, the Ararat, Crudine, Bango and Sapphire Windfarms and interests in the Melbourne Metro and North West Rail projects
- TPG on a number of matters, including its acquisition of a majority stake in Made Group.
