As Deputy General Counsel, Rita Stephanz provides legal and ethical advice and representation to the Firm and its attorneys.

Rita began her career as a litigation associate working with clients in the financial services industry. Her experience includes arbitration of securities and commodities disputes before the NASD, NFA and NYSE, commercial litigation in federal and state courts and representing clients in government and administrative enforcement proceedings. Since 2000, Rita has focused on Firm Counsel matters.

Rita has served as an NFA arbitrator and is a past Member of the Futures Regulation Committee of the Bar Association of the City of New York. Rita is General Counsel of the Clifford Chance Foundation and a member of the Firm's Diversity Committee.
