Meny Elgadeh is a Counsel in Clifford Chance’s Real Estate Group in New York.
Meny's practice covers all aspects of commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures while also advising financial institutions and borrowers on complex secured and unsecured commercial lending facilities, construction loans, mortgage loans and mezzanine financings. Meny also advises on the real estate and development aspects of energy and infrastructure transactions, including on all facets of renewable energy.
Meny's relevant experience includes:
- Representing a joint venture in connection with the acquisition of various commercial properties consisting of retail, office and residential space
- Representing a Luxembourg bank in connection with $540 million in various secured and unsecured loan facilities
- Advising a newly-formed REIT in connection with the ownership consolidation of over 200 self-storage facilities in preparation for its initial public offering
- Representing a German bank in connection with the refinancing of a $103MM loan facility secured by various retail shopping centers, and with the refinancing of a $151 million loan facility secured by various office towers
- Representing an Asian bank in connection with the refinancing of a loan facility secured by a prominent luxury hotel in New York City
- Advising a foreign investor on the disposition and acquisition of various properties in connection with a Section 1031 like-kind exchange
- Advising clients in various sectors, including energy and hospitality, on US real estate matters in connection with merger and acquisitions transactions and various public filings
