Christine Olivo is an associate in Clifford Chance's Houston office with a focus on energy and infrastructure transactions.  She advises clients on energy transition projects, including carbon capture, utilization and sequestration projects and renewable fuel projects, as well as other project development matters.  She has experience in complex transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.

  • Drilling Tools International Corp., a Houston based leading oilfield services company, in connection with its acquisition of Deep Casing Tools, a UK-based global leader in innovative downhole technology solutions.
  • Drilling Tools International Corp. in connection with its definitive merger agreement to acquire Superior Drilling Products, Inc., a drilling tool technology company, for approximately US$32.2 million payable in cash and DTI stock.
  • POET LLC, the world’s largest biofuel producer, in connection with its agreement for Summit Carbon Solutions to provide carbon capture, utilization, and storage services in the world’s largest carbon capture and storage project. The agreement covers the capture, transportation, and sequestration of 4.7 million metric tons of CO2 annually from 17 POET bioprocessing plants.
  • A biofuel company in connection with multiple agreements for carbon capture, utilization, and storage services.
  • Nauticus Robotics, Inc., a developer of autonomous vehicles and robots for data collection and intervention services for offshore industries, in connection with the announced acquisition of 3D at Depth, Inc., for approximately US$34 million in stock.
  • GIO World Health, a recently formed company focused on stem cell research and development, in its business combination with Apeiron Capital Investment Corp., a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company. Under the terms of the agreement, GIO World Health is valued at a pre-money enterprise value of US$250 million.
  • DX Holding Company Inc., manufacturers of water treatment chemicals and industrial chemical products, in its sale to PVS Chemicals, a provider of basic and specialty chemicals.
  • Stonebridge Acquisition Corp., an Asia-Pacific-focused publicly traded special purpose acquisition company, in its business combination with Digi Asia Bios Pte Ltd., Indonesia’s Embeddable “Fintech-as-a-Service” company.
  • A natural gas compression and compressed natural gas delivery business in its sale to an energy services provider.
  • POET LLC in connection with its agreement for Navigator CO2 Ventures LLC to provide carbon capture, utilization, and storage services.
