Haeyoung Kim is a lawyer in Clifford Chance's Global Projects, Energy & Infrastructure practice, and a member of the firm's Worldwide Projects Group.

Haeyoung has experience in advising clients on the development and financing of complex cross-border energy and infrastructure projects and aviation assets. She also has prior experience in Private Equity, Restructuring & Insolvency and Litigation & Dispute Resolution.

  • Advising the ECAs and lenders in relation to the Hai Long 2A, 2B and 3 offshore wind farm projects in Taiwan
  • Advising the sponsors in connection with the awarded first-round offshore wind projects in the Akita and Chiba prefectures in Japan
  • Advising the sponsors in connection with a high-pressure acid leach (HPAL) project in Indonesia
  • Advising the ECAs in connection with the project financing of the Pengerang petrochemical complex in Malaysia
  • Advising an Asian development bank on the financing of a carbon credits project in India
  • Advising a data centre developer on construction documentation relating to development of data centres
  • Advised HSBC on the financing of Airbus A350-900 aircraft for Air India, the first GIFT City aviation financing in India
  • Advised BlackRock Long Term Private Capital on the sale of the luxury fragrance business Creed to Kering
  • Advised MiddleGround Capital on the acquisition of automotive transmission systems manufacturer Xtrac
