Abdulwahab Alaqil

Abdulwahab is an associate in our Banking & Finance practice He is a legal representative who assists both international and Saudi claimants in settling disputes through litigation, arbitration and enforcement proceedings. He provides expert advice on project financing and creditor arrangements from the perspectives of Saudi law and Shariah. In addition, he has worked with Saudi regulatory authorities in drafting certain laws and regulations and has also advised several clients on corporate restructuring.

  • The Red Sea Development Company in relation to the construction, operation and maintenance of the utilities
  • A number of local and international companies in relation to loan structuring and drafting of finance documents 
  • A number of international Banks in relation to several finance agreements
  • A number of international companies regarding existing disputes before the Saudi judiciary and related committees.
  • The Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia in relation to several international investment projects
  • A number of Saudi companies and branches of foreign companies in relation to their establishment and/or restructuring 
  • A number of international Banks in relation to several finance agreements
