Michael Hughes is a Senior Associate in the Private Funds Group, specialising in the establishment and operation of private funds across a range of asset classes, including private equity, real estate, credit and venture capital. His experience ranges from advising on debut manager launches to fund establishments for prominent multi-strategy managers.

Michael advises both sponsor and investor-side clients on secondary transactions and liquidity solutions. He also has considerable experience advising institutional investors in relation to their investments in private funds and a variety of bespoke structures. Additionally, Michael has experience advising on carried interest schemes and co-investment arrangements.
