Alice Darling has significant experience in complex corporate and commercial litigation, with a focus on large-scale litigation and class actions/group litigation.
She advises on a wide range of contention matters, with a focus on large-scale litigation (i.e. class actions/group litigation), litigation funding and privacy claims, in addition to disputes arising out of M&A transactions such as warranty claims and completion accounts disputes.
- Various v News Group Newspapers (defending News Group in the phone hacking litigation, which is managed litigation in the English Chancery Division).
- Represented a major European private equity firm in an English Commercial Court breach of warranty claim.
- Advised a private equity client in relation to a completion account dispute.
- Also advises numerous different corporate clients on contractual interpretation, particularly in relation to the ability to terminate contracts and the impact of doing so.
