Clifford Chance
Pablo Murcia is a Counsel in the Corporate / M&A department and a member of the firm’s Entertainment and Sport practice. He specialises in domestic and international M&A transactions, both for corporates and financial investors, with special focus on the Sport, Entertainment, Energy and Infrastructure sectors.
In particular, he has taken an essential role in the development of the Entertainment and Sport practice in Spain, acting in all major sport-related transactions.
He is a sports law, corporate law and M&A lecturer at ISDE.

Tencent:
- on the acquisition of a majority stake on the Spanish videogame developer Tequila Works; and
- on the acquisition of a stake on the Spanish videogame developer Novarama.
ITV Studios on the establishment, together with its subsidiary Cattleya –one of the main independent production companies in Italy–, of Cattleya Producciones, the first Spanish production company of the ITV Group dedicated to the creation of TV series and films for the Iberian and international market.
Norges Bank:
- on the acquisition of a 49% interest in a 1.3 GW portfolio of PV plants and onshore wind farms in Spain from Iberdrola (potfolio valued EUR 1.2 billion)
- on the acquisition of a 49% interest in a 674 MW portfolio of PV plants and onshore wind farms in Spain and Portugal from Iberdrola
ACS
- on the sale of ACS industrial services business, including developer Cobra, to Vinci, for an estimated value of EUR 5.2 billion
- on the sale by Cobra of 3.2 GW photovoltaic power business in Spain to Galp
