Azal Khan is part of the international arbitration group. Her practice focuses on international commercial arbitration, investor-State arbitration and State-State dispute settlement. She specializes in private international law, public international law and international trade law, with a special interest in the convergence of investor-State arbitration and WTO dispute settlement.
Azal has acted for clients based in Europe, Asia and the MENA region in arbitration proceedings conducted under the ICC, UNCITRAL, ICSID, LCIA, SCAI, HKIAC, SIAC and DIS rules of arbitration. She has also assisted arbitral tribunals in the capacity of a tribunal secretary.
She has dealt with disputes in a variety of sectors including post M&A, energy and infrastructure, oil and gas, construction, metals and mining, telecommunications and media rights.
