Ruben’s expertise encompasses all aspects of real estate law, covering the various stages of a property’s life cycle. This includes investments, development and assisting clients with their property management and asset management activities. Ruben also assists clients on all aspects of construction law in large-scale development projects and in PPP projects. He drafts contracts, advises, and handles legal proceedings relating to real estate and construction.
Advised Patrizia AG with the sale of the Astro Tower in Brussels to Union Investment.
Advised Patrizia AG in 2020 with the acquisition of a real estate portfolio from Athora which included the Louise Tower and the Hotel Wielemans and have subsequently advised Patrizia AG with the redevelopment of both assets.
Advised Whitewood / Ethias / FPIM with the acquisition of the North Light building and Pole Star building which are currently the headquarters of Engie Belgium.
Advised Primonial with the acquisition of 33% of the shares of an SPC which constitutes a joint venture with Weerts Logistics and Ethias and owns a logistic portfolio in Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom.
