William has experience advising on cross-border and domestic M&A, project development, joint ventures and divestments. He is a member of our Worldwide Projects Group and has previously worked in our London and Paris offices.
- BlackRock on its investment into Ditrolic Energy, one of the largest renewable energy developers in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
- Partners Group on its sale of CWP Renewables, a vertically integrated renewable energy platform. Australia’s largest renewable energy deal to date.
- Middle East sovereign wealth fund on the acquisition of a 49% stake in Plenary, an infrastructure investment, development and asset management platform including public-private partnerships.
- Adani Green Energy on the acquisition of SoftBank’s 5 GW solar and wind renewables portfolio in India, valued at US$3.5bn. According to Bloomberg NEF, the largest renewables M&A in the world for 2021.
- Sizewell GenCo on the development and financing of the Sizewell C Nuclear Project in the UK.
