Rose Cuenin is an Associate in our Perth office, working within the International Arbitration Group. A Senegalese-French lawyer qualified in Paris, Rose has experience international commercial arbitration, investor-State arbitration, and public international law. She has acted in international arbitrations under the ICSID and ICC arbitration rules.
Prior to joining Clifford Chance, Rose gained experience working in the telecommunication and data protection sectors and has assisted athletes in their disputes with their sports federations.
- Representing Sundance Resources Limited and Congo Iron SA in an ongoing ICC arbitration against the Republic of Congo following the revocation of its mining licence for the Nabeba-Mbalam Iron Ore Project (ICC Case No. 26145/DDA/AZO)
- Representing Sundance Resources Limited and Cam Iron SA in an ongoing ICC arbitration against the Republic of Cameroon concerning the Mbalam-Nabeba Iron Ore Project (ICC Case No. 26291/AZO)
- Representing a Nigerian power company in a confidential ICC arbitration against Nigeria in relation to a claim for breach of contract.
