Clifford Chance advises a club of banks on the financing of the modular building business of Oriens and its flagship company Moravia Containers

Clifford Chance has advised a club of banks consisting of Česká spořitelna, a.s. and UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s., in connection with the financing of Moravia Containers a.s., one of the leading European manufacturers in the field of modular buildings, residential, sanitary, and technological containers. The financing was provided in connection with the acquisition of STEELMART s.r.o., which will allow Moravia Containers to establish a new production facility for its business.

Clifford Chance is proud to be providing long-term support to the lending banks and Moravia Containers. The cooperation has been ongoing since 2019 and covers several acquisitions in the relevant sector, including the acquisition of CONTIMADE s.r.o. in 2021. Moravia Containers is owned by Oriens, an industrial investment holding active in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland and Germany.
