Clifford Chance Advising Symrise on Purchase of ADF/IDF

Clifford Chance is advising Symrise AG on its acquisition of ADF/IDF (American Dehydrated Foods / International Dehydrated Foods), a leading natural nutrition ingredient provider for pet food, and a pioneer in clean label meat and egg-based taste and nutrition ingredients. Symrise has entered into an agreement to acquire ADF/IDF from its owners for $900 million.

Symrise, a global supplier of fragrances, flavors, food and cosmetic ingredients with clients that include manufacturers of perfumes, cosmetics, food, beverages and pharmaceuticals, and producers of nutritional supplements and pet food, intends to combine ADF/IDF with its Symrise Nutrition division, Diana, to create a leading global player in meat and egg-based protein specialties with a focus on all-natural and sustainable solutions.
