Clifford Chance

Clifford Chance was awarded 'Matter of the Year' for its role advising Amazon on all merger fillings of its $ 8.4 billion acquisition of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) Studios outside of the US, including the EU filing. Phase 1 clearances were obtained in all these jurisdictions. The team included Nelson Jung, Richard Blewett, Anastasios Tomtsis and Milena Robotham.

Clifford Chance also won 'Behavioural Matter of the Year' for Europe, for the European Commission’s investigations into Amazon which were settled by commitments. A team led by Nelson Jung and Aleksander Tombinski advised Amazon on these investigations.
