Clifford Chance

Clifford Chance has been named Global Law Firm of the Year at the Infrastructure Investor Awards for the second year running. The awards celebrate excellence in the infrastructure space, both globally and regionally across the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East and Africa. Infrastructure Investor drew up four-strong shortlists for each category and invited their readers to vote on the entries they felt were most deserving of recognition.

The firm received this recognition for its work across the globe, including its involvement advising ScottishPower in relation to the East Anglia One UK offshore wind project, which was named Global and European Renewables Deal of the Year, and for advising Lekela Power (an Actis portfolio company) in relation to the West Bakr Egyptian onshore wind farm project, which was named Middle East and Africa Renewables Deal of the Year.

These awards, together with topping the IJGlobal and Inframation & SparksSpread FY19 League Tables, demonstrates the strength and differentiated nature of the global infrastructure practice.
