- (5 Sep 2019) Financial Services Agency report (in Japanese) on its Fintech Innovation Hub and blockchain and artificial intelligence developments in Japan.

France:
- (12 Sep 2019) French Finance Minister, Bruno Le Maire, speech (in French and English) at the OECD's Global Blockchain Policy Forum, in which he states that France will block the development of Facebook's cryptocurrency project, Libra, as it currently stands as it threatens the 'monetary sovereignty' of governments | Transcript (in French).

- (6 Sep 2019) Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) strategy for 2019-2021, in which it commits to actively monitor and manage business-related risks posed by cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
- (6 Sep 2019) MFSA circular to virtual financial asset (VFA) service providers on the licence application process under the VFA Act.
Switzerland:
- (11 Sep 2019) Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) supplement to its guidelines on initial coin offerings, outlining how it treats stablecoins under Swiss supervisory law | Press release.
- (5 Sep 2019) Swiss National Bank President, Thomas Jordan, speech on currencies, money and digital tokens, in which he argues that digital tokens are of limited use as payment instruments and stores of value.
UK:
- (9 Sep 2019) House of Commons European Scrutiny Committee report on the 2017-19 parliamentary session, in which it concludes that it will retain the EU's proposed amendments to MiFID2 regarding crowdfunding service providers under scrutiny, in light of the ongoing EU legislative deliberations and the uncertainty surrounding Brexit.
