Boris Torres

Boris Torres is an artist and father who was born in Ecuador and immigrated to Brooklyn as a child.

His work explores the overlap between portraiture, queer culture, and sexuality from a Latin American perspective. Our exhibition features two series of Torres' work that center queer subjects: portraits of individuals—painted on paper—and paintings on canvas representing queer families.
