CMA publishes new guidance on horizontal agreements

In August 2023, the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority published new guidance on the application of Chapter I of the Competition Act 1998 to horizontal agreements. This article explores the changes in the new guidance and considers the ways in which it differs from equivalent rules recently announced by the European Commission, noting points of significance of which clients should be aware.
