UK Government enacts Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act

In May 2024, the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act received Royal Assent. The Act will establish a new regulatory framework for digital markets and enhance the CMA's powers. This article explores the three broad areas of reform which the Act introduces and highlights the potential implications for businesses with digital activities in the UK.
