SEC Adopts Amendments to Further Modernize and Simplify Disclosure Requirements

In March 2019, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) adopted a set of rule and form amendments to modernize and simplify certain of its disclosure requirements. Except with respect to two exceptions discussed in this briefing, these amendments will become effective on May 2, 2019. This briefing describes these amendments as they apply to registrants and provides guidance with respect to compliance.
